Professor Dimitar Trajanov, Ph.D. is the Head of the Department of Information Systems and Network Technologies at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering \u2013 University \"St. Cyril and Methodius\" \u2013 Skopje. From March 2011 until September 2015, he was the first Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, and during his tenure, the Faculty became the largest technical faculty in Macedonia.\u00a0Dimitar Trajanov is the leader of the Regional Social Innovation Hub, established in 2013 as a cooperation between UNDP and the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. From 2012 to 2015, he was a member of the National Committee for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, where he worked on strategies and legislation to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in the Republic of Macedonia by inspiring the use of technology for economic development.<\/p>\n
Dimitar Trajanov is the author of more than 170 journal and conference papers and seven books. He has been involved in more than 70 research and industry projects, serving as the project leader in over 50 of them. His research interests include Data Science, Machine Learning, NLP, FinTech, Semantic Web, Open Data, Sharing Economy, Social Innovation, e-commerce, Entrepreneurship, Technology for Development, Mobile Development, and Climate Change.<\/p>\n
