Aleksandra Popovska-Mitrovikj was born in Skopje in 1979. She graduated from and obtained her master\u2019s degree at the Institute of Informatics within the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje in 2003 and 2009, respectively. In 2014, she defended her doctoral dissertation in coding theory and cryptography at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. In 2004, she received an award from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje for graduating with the highest grade average at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in the 2002\/2003 academic year.
\nShe began working as a demonstrator at the Institute of Informatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, in 2002 and became a junior teaching assistant in 2006. In 2011, she continued her career as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. She served as an assistant professor from 2015 to 2019, as an associate professor from 2019 to 2024, and since May 2024 as a professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
\nShe has participated in and led numerous international and national research projects. She has authored several scientific papers published in journals and proceedings of international conferences. Her research areas include coding theory, cryptography, information theory and blockchain technology.<\/p>\n
