Ana Madevska Bogdanova was born in 1967 in Skopje She received the bachelor and master degrees in Informatics in 1991 and 1996 respectively, at the Institute of Informatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University “Sts Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. In 2003 she received her PhD degree in Computer Science - Intelligent Systems, at the Institute of Informatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences (FNSM), Skopje.
Madevska Bogdanova has joined the Institute of Informatics, FNSM in 1992, as a teaching/research assistant. In the period of 2004 – 2009 she has been working as an assistant professor, 2009 – 2011 as an associate professor at the Institute of informatics, and since September 2011, as an associate professor at Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, "Ss.Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje, Macedonia. She was the Head of Institute of informatics at FNSM in the period 2009 – 2011. Over the past 15 years on several occasions she was a visiting researcher at the Bioinformatics group at the CatholicUniversity in Leuven, Belgium.
Her research interests are in the field of Intelligent Systems, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, ICT in Education, Methodics in informatics. She is an author of over forty scientific papers, chapters in books in the area of Computer Science, presentations for popularization of Informatics. She was a coordinator / participant in several domestic and International projects. She was a member of program committees of several International journal papers and National and International conferences.She is a member of European Society of Neural Networks.
