Goran Velinov received his Ph.D. thesis in 2008 (titled “Generalization and Improvement of Relational Data Warehouse Optimization Processes”) in Computer Science from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius Skopje, Macedonia. Since 2009 he is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, where he teaches Advanced Data Bases. He has published numerous papers in journals and international conferences mainly in the fields of data warehousing and optimization. He has participated in several international projects, such as ELISA, INTERREG IIIB CADSES, 2006-2008; SEE-GRID, 6FP IST project, 2004-2006; SEE-GRID2, 7FP IST project, 2006-2008. His current research interests include data warehouse design and implementation, data modeling, in particular multidimensional modeling and business intelligence.
