Vesna Dimitrova was born on 13.05.1974 in Skopje. Primary and secondary education finished in Skopje, with continued great success. The study of informatics at the Institute for Informatics graduated in June 1997 with a diploma thesis in the field of cryptography, titled "Software implementation of secure communication with C modules in UNIX" (promoter prof. d-r Smile Markovski). During the study she takes scholarships for talented students. In May 2005 she finished her MA thesis entitled "Quasigroup transformations and their applications" (promoter prof. d-r Smile Markovski), and in November 2010 she finished her Phd thesis entitled "Quasigroup processed strings, their Boolean presentation and application in cryptography and coding theory" (promoter prof. d-r Smile Markovski). In April 2000 she was employed as an assistant at the Institute for Informatics. Now she is associate professor at the Institute of Informatics. At the Institute of Informatics, she has 14 teaching subjects and prepared electronic teaching materials for some of them. She speaks English and German and understands Russian. Scientific field of interest is cryptography, especially quasigroup transformations and their application in cryptography. She has published 19 scientific papers and has participated with its presentations of over 30 conferences, symposia, congresses, seminars, schools and workshops. She was one of the lecturers of the school "Algebraic Structures and their Applications in Coding theory and Cryptography" in Ohrid, 2009 under DAAD project. She made several academic visits: the Johannes Kepler University, in Linz, Austria, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia, Bulgaria, South Bank University in London, Great Britain and others. She was a member in 8 national and international projects. In addition to the active work in teaching and scientific research, there is a great professional activity. She has published 9 papers, two technical reports and two posters for conferences. She is the translator and expert reviewer of the book in the field of cryptography, "Practical Cryptography". She is a member of the Association ICT-ACT, the Association of Informatics in Macedonia and the Centre for Digitization of National Heritage in Macedonia. She was a member in organization committee of three international conferences and she was an editor of the Book of extended abstracts of an international conference.
