EESTEC Academy – First Module: “S4E HACKATHON”
Beginning on 1 October, the student organisation EESTEC LC Skopje will deliver a series of free courses available to a limited number of UKIM students. The series of modules, entitled EESTEC Academy, will be delivered on UKIM’s Technical Campus. Each course will address an engaging topic and will be taught by guest lecturers or organised in cooperation with faculties and companies. The purpose of the project is to provide students with valuable complementary education outside the academic curriculum, enabling them to broaden their horizons and advance their personal development.

The topics addressed through the first EESTEC Academy enabled participants to acquire knowledge in areas not covered by the education system. The Academy comprised five separate modules, which will continue this year with even more engaging topics that are currently absent from students’ formal education. Applications and participant selection will be organised separately for each module.
To take part in the first Macedonian crowd-coded application, you need only knowledge of Android or .NET. There will also be a design competition, so talented designers can join the teams. The S4E Hackathon is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, have fun, compete and gain recognition. Supported by Systems4Enterprise, the S4E Hackathon is honoured to serve as the first module of EESTEC Academy 2016/2017. The most successful teams will receive Raspberry Pi 3 devices and excellent books, while the best designer will receive an Amazon Fire tablet.
Interested participants should submit an application through this link and may apply individually or as a team.
