New Call from OKTA: Postgraduate Study Scholarshipsat home and abroad
Skopje, March 30, 2026 – For the eighth consecutive year, the company is announcing a call for postgraduate scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. In this new call, the number of academic fields for application has been increased, and it has also been supplemented with the option for partial coverage of living expenses in accordance with pre-established criteria. OKTA AD – Skopje continues its long-term commitment to supporting education and the development of young professionals.
As part of the OKTA AD – Skopje Scholarship Program, a member of the HELLENiQ ENERGY Group, two scholarships for full-time graduate studies, with a maximum duration of two years, will be awarded again this year. One scholarship is intended for studies abroad, with the opportunity to apply to universities across Europe, North America, and Australia, while the second scholarship is for studies in the Republic of North Macedonia.

This year, the application opportunity has been expanded to candidates from a diverse range of academic fields. The first is engineering and energy, which includes energy transformation, renewable sources, alternative technologies, advanced energy materials for energy production and storage, as well as petroleum engineering. The second area is digital transformation, which encompasses programming, networks and communications, data analysis for artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and intelligent automation. The Environment sector is the third area, where climate change, ecosystems, sustainable development, smart cities, and local development are studied. The fourth area is Economics and Management, which includes energy economics, the bioeconomy and the circular economy, energy grids and energy geopolitics, energy project management, marketing, communications and public relations, legal studies, and human resource management. Candidates can apply for only one of these sectors. Additionally, this year's scholarship program also offers the possibility of covering a portion of living expenses in accordance with pre-determined criteria.

The scholarship program is part of OKTA's corporate responsibility strategy, within which supporting education is one of the key priorities, and is implemented in accordance with the Group's strategy for empowering young people and supporting postgraduate studies for scholars from the countries where it operates. From 2017 to 2025, the company has awarded a total of 44 scholarships for graduate studies, 43 of which were domestic and one international, thereby directly contributing to the development of a highly educated workforce in the country and beyond.
