Dr. Dejan Gjorgjevikj

He was born in 1967 in Skopje. He graduated, received his master's degree, and earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje in 1992, 1997, and 2004, respectively. He joined the Institute of Computer Engineering and Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje in 1992 as a junior assistant. In 2004 and 2009, he was appointed to the ranks of Associate Professor and Full Professor, respectively, and in 2014 to the rank of Full Professor. He is responsible for 6 undergraduate and four master's level courses. He is the author of over 70 scientific and professional papers published in domestic and international conferences and journals. He has participated in a dozen applied research multilateral and bilateral projects with several universities from the European Union. He has been a member of IEEE since 1991 and of ACM since 1997. His research interests include shape recognition, software engineering, machine learning, and advanced web technologies.
