Dr. Dejan Spasov
He was born in 1976 in Skopje. In 2003, he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje. He continued his master's studies at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. He defended his master's thesis, „Implementation of the Lexicographic Construction,“ in 2006. In 2008, he was hired as a junior assistant at the Institute of Informatics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. In 2010, he defended his doctoral dissertation, „A Contribution to Some Properties of Good Codes,“ at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje. He has completed two research stays: in 2001 at the Institute for Nonlinear Sciences at the University of California, San Diego, and in 2010 in Opatija, Republic of Croatia, at the NATO Institute for Advanced Study. Dr. Dejan Spasov's research interests are coding theory and computer networks. In his research career to date, he has participated in 6 conferences in the country and abroad, publishing 8 scientific papers and one article in an international scientific journal. He has participated in three international projects.
