Dr. Magdalena Kostoska
She was born in 1982 in Gostivar. She completed elementary school at O.U. „Bratchko-Edinstvo“ in Gostivar and high school at „Rade Jovchevski – Korzhagin-PEXNAS“ in Skopje, graduating as valedictorian. She graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Institute of Informatics in Skopje, in 2006, with a thesis titled „Web Application for Online Project Submission“ under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Marjan Gušev, completing her studies with a grade point average of 9.7. In 2007, she enrolled in graduate studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, in the Software Engineering program. During her studies (from 2001 to 2005), she received awards and commendations for above-average performance in her first, second, third, and fourth academic years. From 2005 to 2007, she worked as a teaching assistant at the Institute of Informatics and concurrently from 2006 to 2007, she also worked at the company Ultra in Skopje. There, she worked on projects such as a banking information system, a treasury information system, an insurance information system, and a billing system. During her final year of studies, she was hired as a teaching assistant, and in 2007, she was selected as a junior assistant at the Institute of Informatics. She received her master's degree in 2010 with a thesis on “e-Treasury – TREASURY INFORMATION SYSTEM,” and was selected as an assistant at the Institute of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (PMF) that same year. She has conducted labs for the following courses: Software Requirements Analysis, Software Construction, Software Design and Architecture, Data Structures, Human-Computer Interaction, Databases, Computer Architecture, Wireless and Mobile Technologies, Software Project Management, and Data Mining. She has authored and contributed to multiple publications.
