Dr. Milos Jovanovik
He was born in 1985 in Kumanovo. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in Skopje in 2008 with a degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering. He received his master's degree from the same faculty in 2010 in the field of Computer Networks and E-Technologies, with a master's thesis in the area of Semantic Web technologies. In 2016, he earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with a doctoral dissertation in the area of Linked Data. During his studies, he was continuously awarded for his academic achievements.
He began his academic career in 2008 at the Institute of Computer Technology and Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje. In 2011 he joined the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering as a junior teaching assistant and was promoted to teaching assistant in 2014. He was appointed assistant professor in 2017, associate professor in 2022, and full professor in 2026. He teaches courses in operating systems, electronic and mobile commerce, management information systems, DevOps, and web-based systems.
He has participated in numerous international and national research projects. As part of his research work to date, he has published over 60 scientific papers. He is the co-author of three books. His active fields of scientific interest are Knowledge Graphs, applied AI, Linked Data, Data Science, Open Data, and Semantic Web technologies.
