Dr. Milosh Jovanovikj
He was born in 1985 in Kumanovo. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in Skopje in 2008 with a degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering. He received his master's degree from the same faculty in 2010 in the field of Computer Networks and E-Technologies, with a master's thesis in the area of semantic web technologies. In 2016, he earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with a doctoral dissertation in the area of linked data. During his studies, he was continuously awarded for his academic achievements.
He has worked as a teaching assistant at the Institute of Computer Science and Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in Skopje since 2008. In 2011, he was appointed a junior assistant at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering, and in 2014, an assistant. In 2017, he was appointed an associate professor, and in 2022, an associate dean at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering. His teaching responsibilities include courses in the areas of operating systems, e-commerce and mobile commerce, management information systems, DevOps, and web-based systems.
He has participated in 9 international and 26 domestic research projects. As part of his research work to date, he has published around 60 scientific papers as an author and co-author. He is the co-author of three books. His active fields of scientific interest are knowledge graphs, linked data, data science, open data, and semantic web technologies.
