Dr. Slobodan Kalajdziski

He was born in 1976 in Ohrid. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje in 2000 and received his master's degree in 2004. He earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in 2008. He gained his first work experience at Neokom A.D. in 2000, where he worked as a software architect, project manager, and programmer. He has worked as a demonstrator at the Institute for Computer Engineering and Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje since 2000. He was appointed as a junior assistant and an assistant in 2003 and 2005, respectively. In 2008, he was appointed as an associate professor. As an assistant, he was involved in teaching courses in the areas of programming languages, data structures and databases, structured programming, object-oriented programming, object-oriented systems, databases, object-oriented analysis and design, and information systems. As an associate professor, he teaches courses in the areas of object-oriented systems, databases II, object-oriented analysis and design, and information systems. He is the coordinator of the master's degree programs in Content-Based Retrieval and Intelligent Information Systems, where he teaches some of the courses covered by these programs. He is the author of approximately thirty scientific papers published in international and domestic conferences and journals. He has participated in 8 research projects. His research interests include bioinformatics, systems biology, knowledge discovery in data, data mining, data warehouses, databases, and information systems analysis and design.
