Ema Pandilova

Ema Pandilova was born in 2001 in Skopje. She completed her high school education with consistently excellent results at SUGSSG „Orce Nikolov,“ Skopje. During this time, she participated in several competitions in mathematics and biology, where she won numerous awards and recognitions. In 2020, she enrolled in the undergraduate program in Software Engineering and Information Systems at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering – Skopje. During her studies, she was repeatedly awarded and received scholarships for her high achievements and continuous success.
In 2022, during her third year of undergraduate studies, she began working as a lab assistant at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering, responsible for the courses Structured Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, and Human-Computer Interaction Design. While studying, she also works in the industry as a machine learning engineer and on several software projects.
He graduated in 2024 with a grade point average of 9.64, with a thesis titled „Knowledge Transfer with YOLO for Object Detection in Satellite Images“ under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Ivan Kitanovski. He also presented this thesis at the ICT Innovations conference, held that same year in Ohrid.
In the 2024/2025 academic year, they are enrolling in graduate studies at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering, in the Software Engineering program.
The candidate's areas of particular interest are machine learning, computer vision, deep learning, software engineering, and generative artificial intelligence.
