MSc Dimitar Kitanovski
Dimitar Kitanovski was born in 1998 in Bitola. He completed his primary education at GO „Goche Delchev“ in Resen, while he finished his secondary education at SOTU „Gjorche Petrov“ in Bitola with consistently excellent results. During his schooling, he participated in several competitions and won multiple awards and recognitions. In addition to his studies, he also participated in several practical training programs at IT companies, through which he further developed his knowledge.
He enrolled at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering in 2016. During the last two years of his studies, he worked as an associate at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering. He graduated in 2020 with a thesis titled „A Self-Evaluation System for Higher Education,“ under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Ivan Chorbev. He earned his master's degree in 2022 at Finki in the Management of Information Technology program and, in the same academic year (2022/23), enrolled in doctoral studies at Finki in the Computer Science and Engineering program.
In November 2020, he began his academic career as a member of the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering, appointed to the academic title of Demonstrator, where he conducts classroom and laboratory exercises. In 2023, he was appointed to the academic rank of Assistant.
His areas of scientific research interest are data engineering, data bases and warehouses, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data-driven science, and software engineering.
