Marko Petrov

Marko Petrov was born in 2001 in Bitola. He completed his high school education at the „OSU Mirko Milevski“ High School in Kicevo, with consistently excellent grades. In 2020, he enrolled in undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering – Skopje. During his studies, he was awarded for high achievement, demonstrating continuous dedication and excellent academic results. In 2022, he was selected as a lab assistant at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering and actively conducted laboratory exercises for the courses Structured Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Internet Programming, and Human-Computer Interaction Design. From his third year of studies, he began working actively in the industry, participating in various software projects as a software engineer. In 2024, he graduated with a grade point average of 9.68 with a thesis titled „Real-Time Semantic Segmentation,“ under the mentorship of Dr. Ivan Kitanovski. In the same year, he enrolled in graduate studies at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering, in the Software Engineering program. His research interests include deep learning, computer vision, machine learning, and software engineering.
