Nenad Anchev
Nenad Anchev was born in 1990 in Štip. He completed his elementary education at „Goce Delchev“ Elementary School as the top student of his class. He graduated from „Slavčo Stoimenov“ High School, with numerous participations and awards in competitions in computer science, mathematics, and physics, including participation in the International Olympiad in Informatics in Egypt in 2008. He graduated from FINK in 2013 with a major in Computer Architectures and Networks, graduating with a 9.72 GPA for his thesis titled "Analysis of Techniques for Optimization and Parallelization of a Matrix Multiplication Algorithm." In the 2012/13 academic year, they assisted with laboratory exercises at FINKY for the courses Software Development Concepts and Computer Architecture. He pursued part of his master's studies at RWTH Aachen University in Germany on the Simulation Sciences program as a DAAD scholar. There, in 2014 and 2015, he worked as a junior research assistant at the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance in the department of high-performance computing. From 2016 to 2018, he worked at Sorics in the data science and data analysis team. Since 2019, he has been employed at FINKI as a teaching assistant, conducting classroom and laboratory exercises for several courses. His master's thesis is on the topic of "Adaptive Models for Air Pollution Simulation." Nenad shows a special interest in the fields of high-performance computing, algorithms, modeling and simulation, as well as the field of data science.
