| 10. | Objectives of the course programme (competences) | Students will be able to apply advanced cryptographic techniques to real-world problems. Studying advanced cryptographic algorithms and techniques will enable students to understand and solve security problems in industry and in systems used in everyday life. |

| 11. | Course content | Real-world cryptographic problems and their applications, Internet and communication protocols, Anonymous communication, Privacy-preserving techniques (in data mining, data publishing and data processing), Identity-based and attribute-based cryptography, Zero-knowledge proofs, Secret sharing and secure multiparty computation, Electronic voting, Cryptographic aspects of e-cash and blockchain technology. |
