| 10. | Objectives of the course programme (competences) | Upon completion of the course, the student is expected to understand the basics. concepts from communication studies as a science, as well as to have in-depth knowledge in the application of existing techniques and Insights for improving communication between the participants in communication. Special attention will be given to communication through new media and the way new media influence different social spheres. Students will be introduced to the basic principles of public opinion research and the use of new media (with a special focus on social networks) for building and promoting a brand (personal or corporate). |
