10. Objectives of the course programme (competences) Students will be introduced to modern trends in robotics. They will be familiarized with contemporary techniques for modeling the environment in which robots are becoming a part of everyday life. Students will gain knowledge of current trends in robotics such as human–robot interaction, nanorobotics, biologically inspired robots at the genetic level, robotic manufacturing processes, robotics as an assistive technology, and other trends.
11. Course content Contemporary trends in robotics. Environment for modern robots. Perception and actions in the environment. Human-robot interaction. Nanoscale robots. Flexible robotic manufacturing processes. Intelligent robotics. Robots as assistive technologies. Learning and cognition. Emotional robotics. Collaborative multi-robot systems
