| 10. | Objectives of the course programme (competences) | Understanding the basic concepts of social network analysis. Application of these methods through mutual collaboration among students. To understand the relationship between qualitative and quantitative methods for social network analysis. To understand how these social technologies affect society and vice versa. |

| 11. | Course content | This course will introduce methods for analyzing and understanding various forms of social networking, blogging, microblogging, and other forms of online interaction, which are powerful tools for communication and information sharing. The course will examine how people use these technologies and their social implications. Students will be introduced to the science of network analysis. Through real-world examples, including the analysis of their own social networks, students will develop skills for describing and understanding patterns and the use of services such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and others. The applicability of new social media will be discussed. | ||||||||||||
