11. Course content Lectures:
1. Computer Systems Architecture. The latest peripheral device and connector technologies for desktop and portable computer systems.
2. Technological developments in the field of processors in computer systems. Analysis of different types of processors. Comparison of various processor manufacturers. The latest iCore i3, i5, i7, i9 processors.
3. Comparison of the latest RAM technologies. Classification and application. The future of RAM.
4. Description and analysis of the function of BIOS, CMOS, and UEFI in a computer system. Latest UEFI technologies.
5. Technological Distinctions in the Field of Motherboards in Computer Systems. Analysis of Different Types of Motherboards. Comparison of Different Types of Motherboard Manufacturers Based on Processor.
6. The function and operation of the motherboard chipset. The latest technological advancements. Comparison of desktop, mobile, and server computer system chipsets. The future of the chipset in computer systems. Power supply in computer systems. Types and power supply technologies.

1. Installation, administration, and configuration of a computer system. Identification of peripheral devices and connectors on a typical computer system. Types of computer system cases.
2. Identification of computer components in the processor. Diagnosis and identification of possible solutions for repairing the processor. Description of the relationship between the processor, memory, buses, and peripheral devices. Variants of modern processors. Selection and installation process of a processor in a computer system. Installation, administration, and configuration of various types of the latest processors and their technologies.
3. Identification of different types of RAM (Random Access Memory). Operation, selection, and installation of RAM in a computer system. Diagnosis and identification of possible solutions for RAM repair.
4. BIOS functions. Various types of CMOS utilities. Additional ROM external device and diagnostics. Diagnostics using the POST procedure in a computer system. Maintenance, diagnostics, and identification of BIOS-related problems.
5. Motherboard work. Identification and operation of plug-in peripheral devices. Motherboard expansion units. Upgrading and installing a motherboard in a computer system. Diagnosis and identification of possible solutions for repairing motherboards.
6. Identification and operation of the motherboard chipset. Installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of the motherboard chipset. Buses and chipset. Diagnosis and identification of possible solutions for chipset repair. Basic principles of DC and AC power for computer system power supplies. Detailed description of a computer system power supply. Installation and maintenance of power supplies.

Basic functions of magnetic data storage media. Basic functions of SSDs. Identification and function of PATA, SATA connectors. RAID technologies. Installation and maintenance of mass data storage media. Diagnosis and identification of problems related to these computer components.
9. Video/Graphics Cards. Different types of monitor technologies. Principle and operation of LCD and LED monitors. Principle and operation of AMOLED, Plasma, and IGZO monitors. Latest 4K and 8K monitor technologies. Selection and installation of a graphics card. Diagnosis and identification of problems with graphics cards and monitors.
10. Fundamentals of networked computer components and their connection in computer systems. Various types of networked computer components, their connection, installation, function, and maintenance. Various types of peripheral wired and wireless computer components. Installation and diagnostics of wired and wireless network cards in a computer system.
11. Application and installation of printers and scanners, computer components. Description of the operating process of printers, scanners, and laser printers. Components and functions of laser printers and scanners. Installation, administration, and configuration of printers and scanners via various computer media. Identification and diagnosis of problems related to printers and scanners.
12. Application of serial and parallel peripheral computer components. Installation, administration, and maintenance of serial computer components and connectors. Types of connectors and their applications. Application of serial connectors and components in the administration of other computer systems and embedded computer systems.
13. Mobile and Portable Computer Components. Latest technologies and their classification for application in computer components. Installation, administration, maintenance, and diagnostics of mobile and portable computer components.

12. Learning methods Lectures supported by slide presentations, interactive lectures, exercises (using equipment and software simulations), teamwork, case studies, guest lecturers, independent preparation and defense of a project assignment and seminar paper, learning in an electronic environment (forums, consultations).
