10. Objectives of the course programme (competences) The goal of the Sport and Athletic Activities course is to acquire new and refine existing motor knowledge and skills, improve motor and functional abilities in order to enhance health, satisfy the need for movement, and enable the student to engage in rational, meaningful use of free time, as well as improving the quality of life in youth, middle age, and old age. Enhancement of social communication. Expected outcomes: To enable the student to engage in independent sports and physical exercise, and to familiarize them with the principles of physical fitness and proper nutrition. To acquire knowledge of the structure, rules, principles of the training process, and the specifics of their chosen kinesiological activity.
11. Course content Basketball, soccer, volleyball, handball, dance fitness programs (aerobics, step aerobics, Pilates). For students with special needs: physical activities tailored to the student's diagnosis. Optional participation in sports competitions.
