Introducing students to pedagogy as a science, pedagogical disciplines, education, and the school system.

Course content

(1) Pedagogy as a science.
(1) Fundamental principles of pedagogical science.

(2) The system of pedagogical disciplines.
(2) The phenomenon of upbringing.
(2) The power and limits of upbringing.

Learning methods

Lectures using presentations, interactive lectures, exercises (using equipment and software packages), teamwork, case studies, guest lecturers, independent preparation and defense of a project assignment and a seminar paper.
