10. Objectives of the course programme (competences) The goal of the course is for students to become familiar with the elements of psychology and the psychology of learning.
11. Course content (1) Subject of psychology (1) Cognitive development / types of stimuli (1) Attention, perception, working memory, levels of processing (1) Social and moral development (1) Differences in students' needs (1) Behaviourist view of learning – principles
(2) Complex cognitive processes – thinking and speech (1) Emotions, motivation in learning and teaching (1) Remembering and forgetting
(2) Creating learning environments – gifted students, problem children (1) Psychology of effective teaching
12. Learning methods Lectures using presentations, interactive lectures, exercises (using equipment and software packages), teamwork, case studies, guest lectures, independent preparation and defense of a project assignment and a seminar paper.
