10. Objectives of the course programme (competences) Во овој курс ќе се истражуваат пресметковните проблеми кои се појавија од секвенционирањето на геномот. Студентите ќе се здобијат со знаење за:
- Алгоритмите за знаковни низи кои се користат за класичното порамнување на секвенци и проблемите со составување на геномот
- Алгоритми за споредување на геномите
- Класификација на секвенци користејќи веројатносни модели
- Алгоритми за анализа на податоци од експресивност на гени
Во текот на курсот посебен акцент ќе биде ставен на ефикасни алгоритми дизајнирани да ги задоволат предизвиците на брзо растечките збирки на податоци во тековната ера на секвенционирање на геномот со висок проток.
11. Course content Во рамки на предметот ќе видат покриени следните теми:
- Алгоритмите за знаковни низи кои се користат за класичното порамнување на секвенци и проблемите со составување на геномот
- Алгоритми за споредување на геномите
- Класификација на секвенци користејќи веројатносни модели
- Алгоритми за анализа на податоци од експресивност на гени
12. Learning methods Lectures supported by slide presentations, interactive lectures, exercises (using equipment and software packages), teamwork, case studies, invited guest lecturers, independent preparation and defense of a project assignment and seminar paper, learning in an electronic environment (forums, consultations).
