10. Objectives of the course programme (competences) The student will be equipped to model and develop collaborative computer systems.
11. Course content Types of collaborative computer systems. Internet-based architectures of collaborative computer systems, advantages and limitations. Multi-agent systems as collaborative systems: principles of construction and modes of communication. Collaborative filtering. User profiles and collaboration. Chat rooms.
12. Learning methods Lectures supported by slide presentations, interactive lectures, practical classes (using equipment and software packages), teamwork, case studies, guest lecturers, independent preparation and defence of a project assignment and seminar paper, and learning in an electronic environment (forums and consultations).
