Georgina Mirceva is born in 1984 year in Sveti Nikole, R. Macedonia. She obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Computer techniques, informatics and automatics, in 2007 from the Faculty of electrical engineering and information technologies at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Skopje, R. Macedonia. She obtained the degree of Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Computer techniques and informatics, in 2009 from the same faculty. In 2014 she obtained a PhD degree from the Faculty of computer science and engineering at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Skopje, R. Macedonia.
Since 2007, she has worked at the Faculty of electrical engineering and information technologies in Skopje as a demonstrator. In 2009, she is employed as a teaching and research assistant at the faculty. From 2011, she is a teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering in Skopje. Georgina lectures classes at the courses: Databases, Databases 1, Artificial intelligence, Data mining, Multimedia systems, Menagement of information systems, Machine learning, Geographic information systems, Object oriented analysis and design, System analysis and design and Preparation of a project and technical documentation.
As author or coauthor, she has published more than 30 research papers in international journals and proceedings of international conferences. Her research interest is focused on bioinformatics, computational biology, artificial intelligence, data mining, multimedia, machine learning and databases.
