Subject goals and competencies:


Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be equipped with basic methods for creating computer-based animations, working in animation creation applications, and can independently model, texture, rig, light, animate, render, and compose digital scenes.

Subject content:


Basic principles of 3D space, description of digital scenes, hierarchical organization, types of geompetry, modeling of digital objects and characters, deforming objects, rigging of bodies and characters, animation techniques, animating digital characters, shading and materials, object texturing, UV coordinates, digital scene lighting, cameras, scripting and automation, compositing and basic post-production
