Capacity Building – Made in Germany/ NRW: Training Programme for Young Professionals from North Macedonia & Kosovo
Are you ready to prepare for the future? GIZ, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), is launching a unique professional qualification programme designed for young talents from North Macedonia and Kosovo!
- Addressing key challenges: Youth unemployment and shortage of skilled staff in sectors vital for municipal services.
- What’s in it for you? Practical, practice-oriented training in Germany (NRW), exposure to EU standards, sustainable management, and international experience.
- Target groups: Students (5+ semesters), recent graduates, young professionals with less than 1 year work experience.
- Focus areas: Circular economy, water & wastewater management, renewable energy, urban planning and architecture, digitalization, green economy, and more.
Benefits include:
- International internship in Germany 3 to 6 months
- Official certificates from GIZ and internship hosts
- Covered costs: flights, insurance, and a scholarship of €800/month plus €450/month accommodation fee /month
