As the world we live in generates more and more data, so does the industry require people with qualifications to process and analyse this data. Data Science in computer science and engineering is a study programme that will produce the required qualified master’s in engineering that would be able to use the state-of-the-art analytical tools and methods to process and analyse data. Students that attend this master studies will learn to turn real-world data into meaningful, data driven solutions, tools that will be able to support the decision-making in organizations and give insights to the processes in the organizations. The students will gain well balanced theoretical and practical knowledge in data science and use the latest advancements in computer science and engineering to process various types of data such as text, sound, images, as well as structured data placed in database tables from various organizations. The students will also be able to use the latest advancements of big data analytics and apply data sciences tools to large datasets.
